“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”
Pisang Peak Climbing lets us trek around the popular trail of Annapurna circuit trek with an added adventure of summiting Pisang peak above 6,019 meters of altitude. Climbing Pisang peak requires some technical peak climbing skills. However, all the people with few knowledge and experience in climbing and trekking around foothills of Himalayas can join in. Spectacular Himalayan views, passing through Thorung La Pass and most of all the feeling of accomplishment during summit day are the highlights of this trip. First expedition being summated in 1955, you can be our part of team in next summiting of Pisang peak. Initially take a long drive towards Beshisahar from Kathmandu which is the starting point of our way to Pisang peak adventure. After we cross the scenic beautiful village of upper Pisang, we are all set for the acclimatization at base camp near Yak Kharka. With pre-climb instructions and guidelines, we climb to the summit of Pisang peak which gives us an opportunity to view magnificent panoramic views of Annapurna Himalayan ranges, Mt. Gangapurna along other surrounding peaks. Furthermore, crossing through challenging Thorung La Pass (5,416m) we descend to Muktinath, the holy site around the region. This adventure ends as we trek to Jomsom, fly to Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu during final days of trip.
This is a technical adventure which requires quite a good level of physical fitness capabilities with desire to beat the strenuous walk over highest passes and snowcapped Pisang peak. If you prefer trekking only then join our similar Annapurna Circuit Trekking which follows the same route without climbing Pisang Peak.
