Traveling and Trekking around the foothills of Nepal Himalayas on the holiday season can be made more enjoyable, said Hari Kumar Shrestha, the Managing Director at Icicles Adventure Treks. “ Weather is clear, Christmas is here, New Year is near and there is absolutely nothing to fear, what other things do you need dear?,” he said.

There will be fewer crowds which mean more options and availability of tea house along with other services without any hassle. Trekking in Nepal during winter is usually less stressful than during the high time of spring and autumn.

The past data has shown that there is less traffic on airport on major holidays like Christmas and New Year. Also traveler can save upto 10-12 percent on flights flying on these dates rather than a day before.
